Why, it’s Rama the Kelpie cross, crowd favourite at Noosa’s world renowned Surfing Dog Spectacular and hot favourite to become Australia’s best known four-legged board riding champion.

“This year is really special for me and Rama as we celebrate five years of riding together at the VetShopAustralia Surfing Dog Spectacular.  We are looking forwarding to showcasing a set of manoeuvres never before seen at any surfing dog event around the world,” Chris de Aboitiz, head ruff riding coach and renowned dog whisperer said. 

So forget fetching the newspaper or teaching your dog to roll over, hanging 20 with your best mate is where it’s at in 2016.

VetShopAustralia, world renowned online retailer of pet supplies, along with Advantix, are excited to be bringing the event back for the fifth year running, with a two day program of events for dog lovers and surfers who love dogs.

Back by popular demand on Saturday 5th March is a FREE beginners SUP with your PUP workshop at Noosa Spit.  Attendees will partake in a crash course in SUPing with your dog plus tips on dog water safety.

In the lead-up to the Festival’s traditional Hawaiian opening ceremony at sunset on Sunday 6th March, the VetshopAustralia Surfing Dog Spectacular will feature Chris and the best of Australia’s surfing dogs in an exhibition contest that is guaranteed to delight the capacity crowd.

“We are committed to nurturing the pet and pet parent bond through fun outdoor activities and the VetShopAustralia and Advantix teams are excited to celebrate the fifth year of the Surfing Dog Spectacular with everyone involved,” Dr Perrisinotto, founder and head veterinarian of VetShopAustralia said.
